Faith and Unemployment
- delivering a more effective faith based response to local unemployment

Monday 16th December 2013 - Sheffield, 10am - 4pm

Overview
How can our Churches and Faith groups help those who are struggling to find work? How can Ministry and Pastoral Care link meaningfully to the new world of work, income, jobs and careers – and offer real hope especially at this difficult time?

Who is this Workshop for?
The day is open to all (organisations, individuals and groups) interested in supporting individuals who are looking for work, struggling with income or trying to re-build their career. People from all faiths and none are welcome.

The session explores from a practical ‘hands-on’ perspective how the faith and community sector can dramatically increase its impact and effectiveness to help those struggling at this time in local communities.

Keynote Speaker
The keynote speaker will be Des McCabe, the U.K.'s leading job creation entrepreneur.
